Cozy Critters Rescue started the way a lot of meaningful things do—by simply saying “yes” when animals needed help.

What began as helping a few small animals quickly grew into something much bigger. We started seeing more and more pets being surrendered—rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, reptiles, birds—animals that are so often overlooked but deserve the same love, care, and second chances as any dog or cat.

At the same time, adoptions have slowed, creating a growing gap between the number of animals in need and the resources available to care for them.

Instead of turning away, we leaned in.

Cozy Critters Rescue was created to provide a safe, compassionate space for these animals while they wait for their forever homes. We focus primarily on small animals and exotics, along with cats, giving them proper housing, nutrition, enrichment, and medical care—often for the first time in their lives.

Our mission is simple:
to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need while educating our community about responsible pet ownership and the unique care these animals require.
We believe every animal—no matter how small—deserves to feel safe, valued, and loved.
