Where: Critters Pet Shop, 582 Randall Rd., South Elgin

We’re teaming up with Adrianna, an experienced sugar glider breeder, for a special in-store event! Come meet a few of her friendly sugar gliders, learn what life with these pocket-size marsupials is really like, and get answers to all your care questions.

What’s happening

• 🖐️ Gentle meet-and-greets: supervised chances to pet and (as temperament allows) hold a glider

• 🎓 Mini class with Adrianna: housing & enrichment, diet basics, bonding & social needs (why pairs matter), nocturnal routines, vet care, and long-term commitment

• 📝 Applications available on site for guests who feel ready to take the next step toward a responsible, loving home

Good to know

• For the animals’ comfort, handling is limited and supervised; short sessions, frequent breaks

• Kids welcome with a parent/guardian

• We’ll have hand-sanitizer stations and care checklists to take home

• Please confirm local regulations and household readiness before applying
